We totally enjoyed all aspects of our time in Italy!

Our group of six (from Pennsylvania, USA) recently returned from a wonderful 12-day vacation in Italy.
We used Vitor-Italy Tours, working closely with Marcello Cordovani to plan a custom experience. We totally enjoyed all aspects of our time in Italy with the Vitor representatives and Marcello.
All of us have traveled to Italy several times and wanted a personalized vacation and something different than the typical Rome-Sorrento-Florence-Venice loop. Working with Vitor and Marcello was a great experience. He was able to talk with us and determine what we wanted to do and, importantly, what we did not want to do. Marcello recommended the hub cities we should stay in and the towns / attractions we could easily visit from the base location.
All of the various transportation vehicles were clean, comfortable and spacious. The drivers were also great with on time pick-up and arrival. All were safe drivers. It was amazing that they could navigate the very tight streets perfectly.
The hotels we stayed in were clean and right in the heart of the cities we wanted to visit, which made it so easy to get around and explore. The rooms were well-appointed, and the breakfast provided daily was great. The staff at each location were friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with anything we needed. We also loved that we could take day trips to nearby spots without having to pack up and move hotels every night. It was nice to settle in for a few days between stops and feel at home while still seeing so much.
Every tour was great. The guides were very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and even providing insight to many things that were beyond the tour.
Tour guides Nadia, Sara, Francisca, and Lisa were all wonderful, but the best memory of our visit was having lunch with Marcello in Mantova! Marcello kept in close touch with us throughout our 12 days ensuring that everything was going well.
Our next trip to Italy will be planned with and booked by Vitor-Italy and Marcello. We would recommend that anyone planning a vacation in Italy should use Vitor and Marcello.
