VITOR ITALY is the way to go to Italy!
I took the initiative to write this review because our group had an absolutely amazing vacation organized by Marcello Cordovani of VITOR ITALY. We want anyone looking for a tour company to know about the high quality of our experience! Mr. Cordovani put together a customized tour for us (6 extended family members) of Sicily, the Almafi Coast, and Rome. After learning of our interests, he developed an itinerary with his extensive knowledge and then, adjusted and modified it to exactly fit our needs. For example, we were able to include a side trip to our grandparent’s home village outside of Palermo. We were forced to postpone one year due to the pandemic, and when we were ready to reschedule for October 2021, Marcello worked again with us, always responding in a timely manner both with email and zooms. The result: the creation of our perfect vacation!
Going on a private tour through VITOR ITALY is the way to go for many reasons: we didn’t have to travel with a mass of people on a bus, the tour was customized exactly to our wishes, and really, you will not find this type of tour through VITOR ITALY much more expensive than a large group tour. In addition, one of our group’s members has a physical disability, so the tour was also customized through Mr. Cordovani’s expertise to maximize his access in each and every location.
Everything was well planned and included in our package from airport transports, hotel accommodations, archeological site entry fees, wine tastings, etc. Drivers and tour guides were friendly, always punctual, safe (vaccinated and masked), and informative. Travel from one site to another included interesting not to miss stops. For example, our excursion from Sorrento included a stop over in Montecassino Abbey and then the Frascati Wine Cellar for some tasting before arriving in Rome. We had an amazing time with so many fun activities. I think Marcello even pre-arranged the weather because our one day of a bit of indoor relaxation and rest before our fabulous cooking class experience was the only rainy day. VITOR ITALY is the way to go to Italy! We highly recommend this tour company.
